![]() ![]() I’ve contacted support about these issues multiple times and have never had a single response. It opens- but as soon as I click anywhere on it, it crashes and closes. While the following inability to sync was is bad enough - now I can’t even open the desktop app (I have since deleted the useless mobile version). Apple Watch App is hard to use and bugs out at times however I have now doubts it will get resolved & improved. They only keep making it better as I’ve experienced over the years definitely an app to invest in for the long game. Have on all devices watch, phone, tablet, and computer as gTasks or work straight through google. Have as many google accounts attached as you need so you can toggle from personal to work keeping tasks separate, organized, and streamlined in the same app. Can have due dates, reminders, location alerts and notes in each task Sort by priority, due date, day, or see everything Reoccurring task great for bill pay & other chores ![]() I love that I can count on gTasks and it’s producer to respect privacy while giving so much value in features!! Thanks for providing us this product with no strings attached to our data, you rock!! Being a productivity snob no other app has come close to its perks in reoccurring tasks, google sync, and privacy. I have used gTasks for 6 years and to this day it’s still my favorite. Still giving it 5 stars as it works well, but customer service should not include a support email address if they don’t intend to respond. If I could only have one app this would be it!!!! I don’t expect it to be a recurring problem. In the end, I reinstalled the MAC app and it started working fine. I don’t expect much service for free apps, but when a user has paid for this on muliple platforms, I’d expect at least a response. I sent an email to their support by way of the “link” and never received a reply. After trying everying I could not get it to work again. The only ding I would give it is that one time the syncing just stopped working. I don’t need the sub-task feature often, but when I have a project with multiple steps it is very useful. Different lists so I can separate my two businesses into their own groups plus personal stuff in another, a real plus. I have installed gTasks Pro on my MAC as well as on my iPhone and iPad. The “Reminders” app that comes with Apple is nice enough, but it is very limited. Otherwise, it’s really great and I’m excited about being in better integrity with my lists and habits because of a more granular interface. (This works well in Apple Reminders native app.) I want to be reminded when it is the the due date AND I arrive at the location. It is 10 days before that, and when I arrived at home, the reminder popped up. That’s annoying.Ģ) I set a location based reminder for the first of the month, beginning next month, when I arrive at home. I have to go up and click Lists and then My Tasks to be able to open the Subtasks. Problems I’ve noticed in the first couple of days: (Maybe there is a fix for these, but I looked in the FAQs and googled the problems and didn’t find solutions.)ġ) On the iPhone app, if I get a popup reminder for a Task, I can’t open the arrow to view the subtasks from the Overdue or Today sections. Now if I did 4 out of 5, I can mark the subtasks. In Reminders, I had to check off the whole set, or nothing at all. I like to have stacks of tasks together that I do each day at a certain time of day. Reminder has a very limited space to type. But this app is better because I can create subtasks, and there is a lot more room to make notes. I’ve been using Reminder, because it has location-based reminders, which are handy. ![]()
